The policy download is an electronic transfer of policy information from American Modern’s modernLINK® quoting tool into your internal agency management system (AMS).

Details printed on the declarations page are transferred automatically from American Modern to your management system.  Information is transferred for new business, renewals, endorsements, cancellations and reinstatements.

The primary benefit is that you are updating the policy information in your internal agency management system without any duplication of labor.  There is no risk of keystroke errors or missed information.

  • Specialty Homeowners
  • Manufactured Home
  • Motor Home/Travel Trailer
  • Watercraft

How it works:
American Modern policies are quoted and booked via modernLINK.  Our system formats the policy details into a file that can be understood by your agency management system.  We upload the information over night to IVANS.  Via your IVANS subscription, your agency management system downloads the file and updates your data records.  It is an automatic process. 

Policy changes are not made using your agency management software.  That is still done through modernLINK.  Any new policies or changes you make today, will be available for viewing in your AMS the next business morning.

Management systems supported:
American Modern's policy data can be downloaded, through IVANS, into systems from vendors such as AMS, Agency Advantage, Agency Systems, Applied, DORIS, EBIX, Hawksoft, Instar, Nexsure, and SIS. If your agency management system is compatible with ACORD's AL3 standard, it's likely we can interact with it through IVANS.
